Why Choose Geneva Black
- Modern abstract styling with tonal movement that adds depth without overpowering a room
- Low-profile 7–9mm pile height for easy everyday living and furniture flow
- Viscose & polyester blend for a refined feel with subtle sheen
- A contemporary foundation that suits living rooms, bedrooms and open-plan Perth homes
Where Does Geneva Black Rug Work Best?
Geneva designs suit living rooms and bedrooms where you want a modern statement without visual heaviness. Their low-profile pile also supports smooth chair movement, making them a practical choice for home offices. They can also suit formal dining rooms used occasionally rather than everyday family dining, since the viscose blend is more difficult to clean food and drink spills from than wool or synthetic fibres.
Machine-Made Construction
Geneva rugs are machine made for consistent pattern definition and a clean, even structure. This construction gives a smooth, refined surface best suited to lower and moderate traffic spaces rather than busy, high-wear households.
Materials & Fibre Notes
- Viscose — adds softness and a subtle sheen, enhancing tonal depth in the design.
- Polyester — supports durability and helps maintain structure in everyday spaces.
- Pile height — approx. 7–9mm for a clean low-profile finish.
- Origin — machine made in Turkey.
Choosing the Right Size
- 160 × 230cm — apartments, compact living rooms, smaller bedrooms
- 200 × 290cm — standard living rooms and family seating zones
- 240 × 340cm — open-plan layouts and larger statement spaces

Rug Cleaning Guide
Vacuum regularly (flat head where appropriate), rotate for even wear, and blot spills promptly (don’t rub). This rug is a Viscose and Polyester blend, so cleaning instructions differ slightly between the two fibres. For the full picture for both materials, see our full Rug Cleaning Guide.
